Last week, after picking up a prescription from my doctor, I saw that the Brentwood Firefighters had their trucks parked in front of the Brentwood Kroger to raise money for multiple schlerosis.  If you’d like to donate to their cause just click on the previous link.

After convincing one of the firefighters to let me take his picture I went over to take pictures of the ladder truck.  While doing this, two high school girls walking by asked if they could be in the picture and then their friend drove by and wanted in as well.  I told them I was shooting for Firetruck weekly!  I’m not sure if they knew I was kidding.

This past weekend I went to my first dinosaur hugging/birthday party.  I kind of had to bring my camera. There were cavemen too!

Last week Kelly and I and the dogs met her parents and brother at Uncle Johnny’s hostel/cabins/outfitters in Erwin, TN.  The place is situated in a gorge along the Appalachian Trail a few hundred yards from the Nolichucky River which makes it cool and breezy even in Mid-August.  We had a grand time tubing down the river until a lightning storm came and forced us under a bridge.  Kelly’s younger brother Matt asked me to take a few photos for his newly aquired Facebook page.
